SUMMARY:24th Annual Spring Birding Weekend
DESCRIPTION:The 24th Annual Spring Delmarva Birding Weekend will be held April 25-28. We will see the late wintering waterfowl (including Common Loons in breeding plumage) and early neotropical migrants that are on full display in the mid-Atlantic during late April. \n \n164 species were tallied during the 2019 Spring Delmarva Birding Weekend\, and highlight species including Prothonotary Warbler\, Piping Plover\, Northern Parula\, American Redstart\, Barred Owl\, and Black Skimmer. Field trips are held on foot\, in kayaks and canoes\, and on boats\, including an all-day experience to Smith Island in the heart of the Chesapeake Bay.\n
